JSD editors will consider articles that address these questions and other related themes:
- What does teacher leadership mean? What are the leadership roles teachers play in schools and districts and why are they important?
- What conditions and resources are necessary at the school or district level to support the development of teacher leaders?
- How does the development and support of teacher leaders in a variety of roles improve a school or district's efforts to improve student achievement?
- What specific content and processes support teacher leader development?
- How do teacher leaders most effectively collaborate with others in a school or district to achieve their purposes?
- What are the student outcomes of effective professional learning for school leaders?
