New password system in place for members only
On June 14, 2010, Learning Forward introduced a new member password system to ensure the security of your member data. In the past, members have logged into the members-only areas of the web site using the Learning Forward member number and a password – the default password was
learning until members chose to change it to something more secure.
Now, members will use the
Learning Forward member number, as before, and the password will be the
last name on the membership. Even members who have earlier changed their passwords to something unique will now use their last names until they log in again and change the password. Your member number is included on mailings and publications.
We encourage all members, when they first log in to the new system, to update their passwords to something more secure. A combination of letters and numbers is most secure. Your password should be at least 8 characters long.
When you log into the members-only area of the web site, you have the opportunity to update your contact information, browse all archived publications, and search the membership directory.
