Learning Forward Affiliate Grant
The new Affiliates Grant is awarded to
Learning Forward Colorado, under the leadership of Lois Easton. This grant provides funding to allow an affiliate to create or expand their outreach thus enhancing the focus on professional learning that improves student achievement.
Learning Forward Team Grant
The Learning Forward Team Grant supports teams (grade level, school, and district teams) in an effort to advance Learning Forward's purpose: Every educator engages in effective professional development every day so that every student achieves. This year the foundation awarded two grants. Congratulations to the team at
Duval County Public Schools in Jacksonville, Fla., under the leadership of Chip Leonard, and to the team at
Birmingham Elementary/Wylie ISD in Wylie, Texas, under the leadership of Sherry Betts and Vanessa Stuart.
